New Years Eve

This year was the first New Years Eve married where Jon and I got to spend the entire evening together. The first year he worked, the second year I worked till like 1030, so finally neither of us were working. Jon planned dinner at the new Genghis Grill in town with our friends Brian and Miranda from church. The way this place works is you get a bowl and it's like buffet style. You fill the bowl with your meat and veggies, take it to the cooks, and choose your starch. Then they cook it for you on this huge grill and bring it out. It's $4 more for unlimited bowls. therefore the boys chose endless bowls while Miranda and I simply had one. Miranda however was a pro, she piled so much in her one bowl that it probably could have counted for three bowls!

After we went back to their house to play Kinnect. My parents got it for us for Christmas. Jon and I quickly fell in love with how amazing this system is, it's like wii, except you are the controller. It was so fun! Mallory joined us for some game time since Tommy was on his way to the Alabama bowl game. We also played Settlers of Catan, and got them hooked! We watched the ball drop, kissed, and said good night!

We feel so blessed to get to have such close friends already.
