Wow, our move is a week from today... can't believe that it's almost here! Yesterday, I got to have a date day with my s sister-in-law Kaity, We had lunch at the cutest little shop in Old town Arvada, loved it! Then got our hair did with Veronica while enjoying Starbucks, laughed a ton, and simply hung out. Then we made it on time to see the movie Last Song, thank goodness neither of our hubbys were there- they would definitely not have enjoyed it as much as we did. We were 2 of 5 girls in the theatre- sorry Kait that I talked so much :) We did however enjoy a LARGE Mr. Pibb while sitting back and watching this great chick flick!
As for dinner, we weren't quite hungry, but did meet the guys at Chipotle along with Kenneth and Julie. We literally closed the place down, said good night to Kenneth and Julie, then went back to Kaity and Nathaniel's place to play some long overdue Mario Kart!! The weirdest thing happened when we got back, Jon's stomach was making noises as if he were jumping up and down on a waterbed. Kaity, being a nursing student wanted to listen to it with her stethoscope. It sounded so cool!!! So what we thought to be minor gas, turned out to be food poisoning. My poor hubby was extremely sick, unable to hold anything down, got the shivers, and turned completely white. 12:30am we decided to head straight for the E.D. to get him on an IV. We checked out about 3:30 then went to get some meds and finally arrived home around 4am. We were up at 7, 8, and 9... he got sick again. We were able to finally catch some rest and slept till about 1:00. He's still in bed resting, and starting to feel much better. He was even able to eat some food this afternoon. Thank God he is on his way to recovery. Even though I hate seeing him in as much pain as he's been, it's a blessing that I get to take care of him. Pray that he is feeling better soon so that we can continue to prepare for our move and he can finish up with school projects, and be done with school!!!
