We are happy to announce that we have moved into our new, clean apartment!! So far we love it. I finally feel like I am going to be able to make a home out of this and live up to my title of "Homemaker" at least until I find some work. Our friends Tommy and Mallory helped us move, and Mallory helped me unpack. It's crazy how little we unpacked in the old place, I forgot about some of the sweet stuff we have. We haven't decorated yet, but as soon as we do, I will be posting pictures!! Ashley, (or any other creative one), I want to do something with some pictures from Africa, any recommendations? My parents and bro are coming this weekend for a mini vacay and bringing us the bedroom set that my Dad built for us. We can't wait to see it, it's going to be gorgeous, and handmade!! They are also bringing the bag set that my bro built us for our bdays. Trust me, photos will be uploaded soon.
I feel like I have been so busy, yet not. It's weird. Since we moved, I have always been preparing for the next whatever...We moved in May, the first weekend we headed on the cruise with the Moller fam, got back and a week later went to my parents for the following week, got back and 10 days later went to Africa, got back and a week later Susan came for the weekend, one day later headed out to Colorado for Brittany's' wedding, got back and a week later moved. I have truly been busy... we have Nathaniel visiting while he is here for work (Thank you God for bringing him to Gville for some work- what a blessing to see him), parentals are coming soon, then Kaity and Nathaniel will be here for a week for their anniversary- we get to meet up in ORlando, and then in early September we get to see Jered! It's been a lil crazy. Can't lie, I am enjoying getting to go to the gym and hang out, but it would be nice to enjoy the double income to pay some debt off.
On a positive note, there was a woman today in the spin class I go to that is a teacher, and asked what I do. I told her we just moved so I was looking for work. She told me she teaches 2nd grade at a private elementary school, and they may be looking for assistants... who knows. It would be great hours, extra income, and a chance for me to network. I will keep you posted!
Other positive note, our truck is fixed! Only three rental cars, $250 (instead of $500), and a week later. PLUS, our old apartment is looking into the case further and reimbursting us what we spent out of pocket. Praise God!
