Big girl haircut for a big girl job!!

I am so excited to announce that I have officially put my 2 weeks in at Starbucks and will be starting soon with the College of Medicine and the University of Florida in their development department.

I had starting meeting with people in development back in December (both from Shands and UF) and have felt very encouraged, yet no job. This job is actually a temporary role which means that I will be working full time on random projects that they need done, as well as getting experience in a lot of areas. I'm so excited!! The whole reason for being in the temporary role is so that when a full time role opens up, as long as I'm qualified, I can transition into it.

I will keep you posted on more details as I get into the role. Is it weird that I'm excited to wear dress clothes again, and actually do my hair?
