Justus is already 5 months old!

Warning! This will be a post on one obsessed mama...

Justus Lionheart Moller, you are already 5 months old! You have brought so much joy to Daddy and I's world. It's hard to believe that you almost half a year old but then it's also hard to remember life before you...

I feel like God is revealing so much to me through you, mainly just how good He is. You are truly a content and happy baby... that is God's grace on our life. You're not quick to cry or get angry, only if you are hungry. You love being held and around people. This past month you have grown so much personality... you laugh on your own now which makes us laugh. I love the sound of your giggle, I hope and pray that you will continue to laugh quickly and be slow to anger.

You have become a semi pro roller... you first rolled from your stomach to your back and only over your left shoulder, but now you can go both ways and either side. You are getting much quicker...

First time you ever on you August 6th, you rolled over! Thanks for waiting for Daddy to be home to see!

You have loved to stand since you were about 2 months old, and you are getting so much stronger. You enjoy standing and jumping while being held on someone's lap or you love being in your jumper. At first, Daddy and I thought you were gonna jump straight out of it! It was through your jumper that you learned more about your hands... there are tons of toys on it to keep you occupied!

Over the last month, you have fallen in love with your feet. You are amazed by them and constantly try to put them in your mouth or grab at them. Simple joys my son.

This week, you finally slept through the night, till 7:30. Praise Jesus!! We all woke up refreshed and the best rested we've been in a long time. Thank you for sleeping! You have also been willing to take your bottle again... this means Mommy and Daddy should go on another date night!

Justus, you love being with people, singing and reading, talking to us, playing with your feet, jumping and standing, car rides and time in your stroller... Recently, you have learned that you have a tongue and enjoy sticking it out at us as well as you've learned you can squeal... Sometimes Daddy tells you you sound like a girl when you squeal so loud! You just laugh it off... You love drooling and putting anything and everything, including other people's hands and Mommy's glasses in your mouth. You have learned to blow bubbles and smile at the same time- super cute buddy! When we read or sing 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed or Swinging in the Tree it usually makes you laugh, so we're convinced those are some of your favs. Also, when Daddy gets home from work and you are waking up from your catnap - he's discovered that's the best time to make you laugh, you're so ticklish then!! Yesterday, when he got home we were practicing sitting up and you were laughing uncontrollably on your own... nothing we did! Justus, thank you for such a sweet moment. You continue to melt our hearts.

Things that make you not so happy... when we need to suction boogies or snot out of your nose... you haven't quite figured out that it will actually make you feel better. Being forced to nap or go to bed when everyone else is still hanging out. And when you are overtired and hungry but don't wanna eat, and I try so hard to make you eat- you arch your back and get angry at me. (I'm not a fan of the arching buddy)... BUT, we have learned that if we blow in your face it causes you to stop screaming for even a second and helps you calm down or we sing Jesus Loves Me.... that one has worked so much. I love that you enjoy that song and I pray that you will know just how much Jesus loves you Justus. I pray that one day you will know Him as your personal savior and desire to follow him with all your heart.

We are so grateful to God for entrusting us with you. I have learned a lot in the last five months about you and can't wait to learn more. God is beyond good to us because you are amazing little man.

Lastly, I heard this song on our friends' blog and instantly fell in love... Daddy and I will have to learn the words so we can sing to you every night. We love you more than you will ever know.
